When the New Zealand Herald undertook their first format change in over 145 years, it was RedYeti that was chosen to document it.
It's not often that a newspaper, especially the leading newspaper in New Zealand, changes it's physical format and size. It's a momentus event and change in thinking for all involved, from editorial staff, to designers, to the sales and marketing team.
When APN NZ decided that their flagship brand, The New Zealand Herald, was going to go compact they turned to us to help them document the process so that readers would be fully informed of the process, changes and reasons behind them. We producded a series of web videos that followed the process from concept to press.
