International Director Scott Reynolds Joins RedYeti
Acclaimed Kiwi film and TV director Scott Reynolds has joined the RedYeti roster.
“We’re thrilled to have a director of Scott’s calibre onboard and I’m really looking forward to working closely with him” says RedYeti co-owner Alex Lawson. “We’d been thinking carefully about the type of person and director that we wanted to add to our offering and Scott fits that bill perfectly.”
Reynolds original made his mark in commercials in the mid to late 90’s, taking credit for the 1995 All Blacks World Cup TVC, the original H2GO water ads and executions for Mazda and Presbyterian Support agency amongst others.
From there Reynolds found himself immersed in the film world, making a number of short films, and three features that he both wrote and directed, ‘The Ugly’ a NZFC funded psychological thriller, ‘Heaven’ through Miramax and ‘When a Stranger Calls’ for Columbia Tristar.
He directed two episodes of the NZ TV Drama ‘The Cult’ in 2009 and has spent the last 18 months under contract working for Arclight Films in the USA.
“I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in with RedYeti” says Reynolds “Writing solidly for the last 18 months has been great, now it’s time to get back behind the camera. I’m really excited.”
